The pile of the towel is made up of 60% viscose from bamboo and 40% combed cotton. The bath mats are 100% cotton and are a plush 1000 GSM. These towels have finally answered my question: Are there any great towels left out there? You know, the ones that remain soft and absorbent after a trip through the washer and dryer? FINALLY I have found them and won't order anything else. Regarding price: I have searched the web and these prices are the best. Further, I save not needing to buy fabric softener and dryer sheets. Just a little woolite in cool water and a low dryer setting. They seem to get softer with each wash. This is an awesome find! -- W. Freeman
